Camilla Catrambone
Camilla Catrambone is an Italian photographer and she has created a series of portraits using people's possessions and not showing the people's faces. Below are some examples of her work and I am very keen to try this out using my family as the subjects for these photographs.
Catrambone's approach to her work is summed up really well in the quote below. This quote is taken from her website (lacantra.com) -
'I‘ve always been fascinated by objects, and I think somehow every person is represented by their personal objects, the objects they choose, the ones they are attached to, and the way they use them tells you a story,'
I will develop my initial ideas around this work and will develop the idea by altering the arrangements of the objects and using different processes in Photoshop to try to reflect the personalities of the people whose objects appear.
