photographer and artist research
hannah guy
I have been looking at Hannah Guy's work which I really like. She has taken series of photographs of single trees. Overlaying photographs taken from different directions has allowed Hannah Guy to create a 3-D image of the tree. In this I can see clearly how the tree is a completely different shape according to which direction it is viewed from. I will try this out and hopefully be able to add to my Photoshop skills by investigating the use of layers, opacity and using lots of files in one image.
andy goldsworthy
I have looked at Andy Goldsworthy and really like his sculptures using leaves and their colours and this is something that I want to pursue using leaves from trees in my school grounds. I also want to take some photographs of leaves in the classroom and use this to create a kind of leaf sculpture in Photoshop. I also want to take a set of photographs of tress as they are reflected in the school buildings’ windows. This is inspired partly by Daniel Kuklas and his landscapes using mirrors.
