Michael bosanko
Michael Bosanko uses a camera and lights to create artistic images. He uses different colour lights to create images of animals, people or cityscapes. This process he uses is to open the shutter for a period of time and then draw the image with a light source such as a torch. The camera is on a tripod so that the background is not blurry.
He started to do this kind of photography after photographing the moon and then moving the camera without closing the shutter.
Bosanko’s work makes the viewer question how the process took place and how relevant it is to the background. His work is creative and playful giving the viewer a smile and a comment of ‘that’s clever’!
I will take the creativity of his work and the use the backgrounds to bring a playful feel to the image. I will experiment also with moving the camera as well as the lights.
